I thought I knew what really went into the commercial dog treats and kibble I had been giving my best friend "Jaws" the Pug, but it turns out I had no idea. I wanted to believe that these companies were looking out for our best interest. Unfortunately now I know this isn't true. After countless hours of research, I was completely disturbed and disgusted by the facts I had learned, and how it is all basically legal, with little or no oversight. I'm definitely no longer confused as to how there can be recalls. Please take a minute to check out these websites for more detailed information:

Because I wanted the Best for my mutt, I immediately started my research on feeding Human Grade Foods to avoid the revolting ingredients used in many commercial dog treats / food and to reap the benefits of feeding Fresh, Whole ingredients. You will probably be as surprised as I was to find there is a great deal of information on this. Here is a link I think you will find very helpful.

Here's a book that will help with what foods to feed, how much and a ton of recipes that are easy to follow.
It's called "Barkers Grub" written by Rudy Edalati, available at amazon.com
HELPFUL HINT: During the course of my research, I encountered many foods you should not feed your canine companions. Here is a list of some foods to avoid:
Grapes, Raisins, Macadamia Nuts, Unbaked Yeast Dough, Chocolate, Onions, and Garlic.
My goal is to encourage and inspire other dog guardians to entirely feed (or at least mix in) some Fresh, Whole, Healthy ingredients into Fido's diet. With the links above you will be able to get some guidelines on how to do this. Your dogs will love you even more than they do now, if that's even possible?!?!
I realize time is of the essence, and it may not be physically possible for you to accomplish this alone. That's where I can help, if need be. Check out what I have to offer and give Fido a break from his everyday, same old dry processed snacks / kibble. Go ahead and mix some extra love into his life!!
Rest assured, ALL of my items have been rated "2 PAWS UP" from the hounds in my hood.
